Miami, Fl Everything you can expect of a Boutique Hotel. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful and courteous.The decor is chic and sophisticated. Every evening they have a 'Happy Hour' with free drinks and 1/2 price drinks. Just the right touch before heading out for a night on the town. The small courtyard is nice and cozy for reading or simply getting some fresh air. They also have some very nice penthouse suites which are more like luxury apartments with there very own terrace and contemporary furnishings. Definitely a great home away from home. The best part of this hotel is its location. While it doesn't sit right on Ocean Drive or Collins Avenue it does sit one block away from Collins and two blocks from Ocean. Parellel to the building on Jefferson (deadend) are lots of cafe's, restaurants, boutiques and more. Notable is the 24 hour Walgreens and CVS located just across the street.

Not only is this hotel beautiful but the staff is probably the friendliest, most courteous staff I've ever come across. You are made to feel special from the moment you step up to the door. The bellmen will not allow you to pick up one single bag. They are there to serve you and never are you made to feel like a nuisance. The restaurant on the premises is superb! The menu is seasonal because they support local and regional farmers and fisherman. They only use natural and organic ingredients. Each guest room is equipped with an iPod docking station. They have made good use of the room space also. The hotel overall is chic, sophisticated and elegant with a down home appeal. My favorite feature, other than the comfortable beds, would be the outdoor dining space. If you live anywhere near Atlanta, do yourself a favor the next time your downtown, book a room at Ellis On Peachtree.
